A toast to summer

Yesterday I had my first ever major gig, a pre-debut photoshoot for a friend. Never really thought I’d do something that would be used for something because all I do is just for fun (except for that one time when we had a fun shoot for our school’s club. But it wasn’t used so it doesn’t count). Anyway, it was a very long day and it was really hot (maka haggard lang ang wosh!) and I got all sweaty so the thing to do is change outfits. Which makes this post have two outfits. I already planned ahead on what I’ll be wearing for yesterday , I brought two tops since I know I’ll be sweating a lot, which by the way I did (girl scout of the Philippines).

A toast to summer because summer has come to its end and of all the outfits I had this summer these are the only outfits I can really say that are really summery.

Can I just say that I am the most excited person right now. Later this day I will be having my first ever major gig. Although I know I’ve done a couple of funshoots, but this one is different. I am not just doing this because I want to, but because this is for her 18th birthday (now you know what I’m talking about *wink*). Anyway, so excited and I do hope I’ll do great and I’ll satisfy everybody. GAAH! just excited!

PS: I just didn’t want to post on my blog that I’m excited without any photo. This is also a good reason to post these photos I took earlier, LOL!

Celebrate Randomness

As you could see, I’m not really the type of person who takes good creative-random-scenic-beautiful photos. Anyhoo, I still do it despite my lack of creativity and skill to it. After all, I am the photographer of my own life.

Dirty Mirror (Vanity)

Incase you still don’t know who takes my self portraits, I do. With the help of these two: My beloved camera and my ever helpful tripod. I don’t know why but I always seem to enjoy taking self portraits even though it’s kind of a hassle. Not being narcissistic but I do prefer self portraits over random-scenic photography, I’m just not good at it.

Anyway, installed this very old mirror of ours in my cabinet. I like the old-dirty look to it.

Sorry, I just don’t know what to say. Haha :P And loving black and white photography now.
